Rules for Handling Property Disputes in Cohabitation Relationships

Article 4 of the Interpretation (II) stipulates that in property dispute cases of cohabitation relationships where both parties have no spouse, if there is an agreement on property acquired during cohabitation, it shall be handled according to the agreement; if there is no agreement and negotiation fails, wages, bonuses, remuneration for services, intellectual property income acquired by each party shall belong to each party respectively; property purchased with joint contributions or income from joint production, operation, or investment shall be divided based on the respective contribution ratios, comprehensively considering factors such as cohabitation circumstances and whether there are common children.
