Article 1052 of the Civil Code stipulates that if a marriage is concluded under coercion, the coerced party may request the court to revoke the marriage. The request shall be made within one year from the termination of the coercion. Article 1053 stipulates that if one party suffers from a major disease, they shall truthfully inform the other party before marriage registration; if they fail to do so, the other party may request the court to revoke the marriage. The request shall be made within one year from the date when the party knew or should have known the ground for revocation.
