Article 16 of the Interpretation (II) stipulates that agreements in divorce agreements that one party directly raises minor children and the other party does not bear support costs are legally binding on both parties. However, if after divorce, the economic situation of the directly raising party changes, causing a significant decrease in the original living standard, or there is a significant increase in necessary and reasonable expenses for the child's living, education, medical care, etc., and the child requests the other party to pay support, the court shall support it according to law.
